About Mailin

Hi! My name is Mailin. I am a 22-year-old Pre-K Teacher Assistant for Saddle Brook Public Schools that has been working with students (ages 3-5) for over a year. Working with children has given me the ability to make a difference in their lives as well as helping/teaching them during this early stage of development. Some of the things that I have accomplished while working with kids are: helping them become potty trained, teaching them how to read, learning their alphabet and numbers, practicing life skills such as how to clean up a mess, how to open items, using our words to communicate what we need and feel, etc. I am the oldest of two and have been babysitting my siblings since the age of 12. They have always seen me as a mom figure/role model. I am CPR/AED certified. Currently, I am in college to obtain my Bachelors degree in Psychology with a minor in Child Advocacy. My goal is to become a School Psychologist so I can support students through various developmental and mental issue
