Hi there! I'm Maike and I'm a mom to 5 amazing children. One of our daughters has Down Syndrome and she is the light of our family! My childcare experience dates back to my tween years when I began babysitting for neighbors until life took me to upstate NY where I had the honor of working as an Au Pair for two years and care for 4 young boys. I then became a mom myself before we decided to take on the foster care journey and had the privilege of welcoming several children into our home over the next two years. Life then gave us our first daughter, followed by two amazing children we adopted from China, and last but not least, our last baby, also a girl. While caring for our own children I have also been working in Vienna, VA, where we provide overnight respite to children and young adults with intellectual disabilities. This has been my passion for the past 12 years! I would love to provide support to your family by providing excellent care for your children.
