About Maia

Hi! I'm Maia, I'm 19 and from Brooklyn, and I absolutely love working with kids! I've been babysitting since I was 15, spent the past three summers as a sleepaway camp counselor for kids ages 5-9, and worked for a year at a daycare with toddlers ages 1-3. I'm energetic, patient, creative, and love actually getting involved and having fun with the kids I'm watching. I'm always down for arts and crafts, board games, playing outside, reading, helping with homework, or just being silly! I have experience with a wide range of ages and personalities, including children with special needs, and I'm CPR and First Aid certified. One of my favorite things about childcare is getting to know each kid and becoming someone they feel comfortable with and can trust. I'm responsible and reliable, but I also want kids to be excited when they hear I'm coming over!
