About Maia

Hello! My name is Maia-I've babysat since I was 11 and have always loved spending time with younger ones. I'm an extremely positive and enthusiastic person, especially around the radiating energy that kids have. I worked at two different preschools during high school and have additionally served as a camp counselor, day camp instructor, and elementary/middle school tutor (in subjects such as science, math, writing/reading, history, and Japanese). I also feel very comfortable with conflict resolution and mental health challenges surrounding young people, as I have 2+ years of experience volunteering for a youth support crisis line.
