About Maia

I live in West Salem with my husband, and 2 kids. We have a little corgi named Winifred. I love playing music, cooking, gardening, yoga, and have many other interests. I love sharing my interests with children and seeing what they connect with. I have experience in the Montessori classroom as an assistant as well as the lead teacher. I went to Montessori Northwest in Portland for my Montessori Teacher Training from 2018 to 2020. In addition to working in the classroom, I was a nanny for an 8-month-old baby for a year and a half and have babysat many children of all ages. I'm hoping to find a family that would like a Montessori style nanny that fosters independence, exploration, and a love for learning. My favorite things to do with kids are singing songs, playing language games, reading, and playing outside.
