About Maia

Hi! My name is Maia and I recently graduated University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a major in Clinical Psychology and a minor in Spanish. I am currently attending UIC for my Masters in Nursing. At home, I have 2 cats and 1 dog, so I am very comfortable with pets :) I have been babysitting/nannying/tutoring for 9 years now, and I have worked with kids of all ages, from infants and babies, to entering high school! I truly love spending time and interacting with kids, and I hope to continue working with children in my future career someday. I have grown up with 3 siblings and dozens of younger cousins, so I am lucky enough to still love playing, being active, and keeping kids away from screens as much as possible ;) I am fully CPR and First Aid certified, and have taken a multitude of child development courses.
