About Maia

I'm a dedicated pet care provider and bring a good energy and a sense of responsibility to every family I work for. I'm creative in keeping pets engaged and I thrive under pressure. I am also bilingual (English and Spanish) and currently learning Portuguese. But my current goal is to create a comfortable and nurturing environment for pets, making sure they feel safe and loved while their owners are away. I'd describe my personality as creative, empathetic, and adventurous. I like working with animals because it gives me a sense of purpose, knowing I can see the people and pets I'm helping makes me feel like I am doing something good. I'm looking for a job that is flexible. I just moved back home to Tampa and hope to get a part time job and be able to do this in my spare time. In my spare time, I like to crochet and practice my Portuguese. But another big hobby of mine is backpacking. I've been to some amazing countries and am back home in Tampa to spend time with my family.
