About Mahkiya

Hi, I'm Mahkiya. I have my degree in Psychology. I started babysitting when I was in middle school, all through high school, and still now. I was a live in nanny for two boys in 2018 to 2020. The pandemic is the reason I moved out to be with my mom through quarantine. My main duties were to get them ready for school, drop/pick up from school, do homework, and take them to their after school activities. I did prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping depending on the mother's schedule. I do date nights as well. My main goal is to provide loving care and make sure children learn from me with every opportunity that is presented! I have childcare experience with newborns and up. I'm outgoing and active so I will be able to keep up with any activities that are required. I have 2 years of ABA experience. I currently work as a case manager supporting individuals that struggle with mental health issues. I really enjoy working with children and I look forward to working with your family!
