Hi there! My name is Hayla, I am a 21-year-old who has spent the last 3 years working for a middle school working with children on the spectrum and students who have other behavioral struggles. Before this I was an RBT(Registered Behavior Technician) working hands on with children on the spectrum. Before I branched out into working with special needs children, I worked for 3 years for a before and after care company where I spent most of my mornings/afternoons with students ranging from K-5th doing crafts, STEM activities, cooking, etc.. I have always enjoyed working in childcare because I enjoy the environment/atmosphere that working with children provides. I am currently interested in finding some part-time or occasional babysitting gigs for the summer and potentially long term!
