About Mahala

I grew up owning cats, dogs, fish, guinea pigs, hamsters, and frogs. I currently have four rats and two cats that I love dearly. I pet sit for several friends of mine in the area though I have not done it professionally. I majored in Wildlife and Conservation and Minored in Childhood Trauma and Outcome; I do work at a residential treatment center for children with Community Counseling Center. I love caring for others (animals and humans!) and recognize the importance in meeting your pet's needs and specific routine. I am hoping to make some extra money as I am repaying college loans and have medical expenses, while meeting some new animals to care for and love on. I do live in an apartment and therefore would not be able to board or watch animals at my residence; however, I am willingly to drive to pet & house sit, or take any animals on a walk.
