About Maggie

Hello! My name is Maggie and I've had 5+ years in childcare and elementary education. Currently perusing an M. S. in an environmental health. Besides working as a full time nanny and an elementary school nutrition educator, I've worked at NASA in GIS and done lab work in environmental consulting. My research is in reproductive toxicology but love working with kids and helping them develop and nurture academic habits that will last a lifetime. Every student is different, and personalizing an effective plan for your student and family is my number one priority. I'd describe my personality as: bubbly, determined, and trustworthy. I like tutoring because it gives me the opportunity to understand how different students learn best while inspiring them to excel in academics. I'm looking for a job where the family is as equally committed to their child's success and who values communication and collaboration. My skills include: study techniques, time management, and note taking skills.
