About Maggie

I have always loved working with children. Most recently, I worked as a full-time nanny to a pair of 2-year-old twins (boy and girl), occasionally working overnights. My responsibilities involved helping the children develop their speech and coordination, taking the kids to gymnastics and music class, mealtimes, nap time, and sometimes bath time, along with the general care necessary during the day. I realized that I want to pursue a career working with children, and have changed majors accordingly in time to begin the new school year. Before that, I spent my summers as a camp counselor at both sleep away and day camps, working with kids ages 2-15 during daytime activities, cabin time in the evenings, and as a swim instructor/lifeguard. One of the most rewarding things I've experienced is getting to watch the kids I work with grow into more confident versions of themselves as they learn more about the world around them each day.
