About Maeve

I am a patient and enthusiastic person, who, as the eldest of four children and a frequent babysitter, has experience with kids of all ages. A current student at Colorado School of Mines studying chemical engineering with a focus in biology and a biomedical engineering minor, I have abundant experience with maths and sciences. I competed in science fairs in middle school and took advanced science and math courses at St. Mary's Academy during high school. In my freshman year at college, I have taken biology, chemistry, physics, and calculus. Though my current path does not focus on English, the skills I developed in advanced and ap courses have aided me in my success in a variety of disciplines. I also took dual credit history courses, which taught me skills with research paper development. In my studies, I find that skills are most strongly developed with repetition, application of studied ideas, and understanding and focusing on challenging topics or instances of failure.
