About Mae

I am working at the FARM institute as a farm based educator this summer and am looking for a babysitting job during the evenings and/or weekends! I like working with kids because I enjoy being someone in their life that provides a safe and nurturing environment to grow and learn in. I also think that kids have a unique outlook on the world that we can all learn from! I started working with kids when I was 14 as a camp counselor and have since worked as a swim instructor in high school, afterschool teacher in college, and have experience full time nannying. In my spare time, I like to be active, creative, and outside! I enjoy outdoor activities such as swimming, walking/hiking, and skiing. I also enjoy crafts and often knit/crochet, paint, and make jewelry. My skills include restorative practices, conflict resolution, and active supervision.
