I'd describe my personality as loving, gentle, and reliable. I like working with kids because I love the joy and laughter that they bring to the table. I have always felt a calling to teach (elementary children) and love the different connections that I can build with students and children of all ages. I currently work at a preschool, and have lots of babysitting and nannying experience in the past 6/7 years. I nannied last summer for a 3-year-old girl and loved it! I also have experience in both preschool, elementary, and middle school classrooms, either through working or volunteering. I am flexible in terms of scheduling and am very comfortable in a number of situations including working with teaching children, pickup and drop offs, homes with pets (I have always had dogs and I love all animals!), etc. In my spare time, I like to play softball, play outdoors, craft, cook, read, and try new things!

Madyn watched our 3 year old over the summer. She was punctual and dependable and gave us plenty of notice for her planned vacations. She prepared meals and snacks, had lots of imagination and helped our kiddo stay busy. She was very interactive and didn't just put our kiddo in front of a screen. She followed instructions well, for instance putting sunscreen on before going outside. We would highly recommend her to other families!
