About Madison

I'd describe my personality as adaptable, positive, & caring. I've worked in zoological settings for 4+ years now & I have found purpose in building behaviors & connections through training, husbandry practices/general care, & working in conservation. My skillset is animal-oriented (especially avian) & I have years of studying animal behavior under my belt. I'm looking for a job that can be supplemental to moments that I am not at my fulltime job. Anything with/around animals, which is what the bulk of my experience is in. I started working with animals several years ago when I started interning with a bird of prey rescue/rehab. I have been a zoo keeper at AZA accredited institutions for 3 years now. Prior to that I have worked around animals in education/ambassador animal settings, caring for those as well. I am a college grad with a BA in theatre, that specialized in biology. I have worked hands-on caring for many rehabilitating animals & have also trained several of them.
