I have always believed education is extremely important. I have 3 nephews (ages 12, 8, and 5) who I regularly help with their homework, so I do have some unpaid background experience with tutoring. When I was younger, I would always dread doing homework because if I didn't understand it or enjoy it, I just wouldn't do it. It is so important to not only help the kids understand the subjects they're learning, but to help them enjoy it and make it fun. I would be happy to meet with you and your child before any tutoring sessions began so you can feel more comfortable with me and so I can better understand what your child will need help with. I'm comfortable tutoring at your house, but would prefer meeting at a library.
