About Madison

Hi! I'm Madison and I am an elementary education major at Drexel University and I am currently employed at the Goddard School. Working with children is my passion and brings me so much joy! I have nannied since middle school but more recently I have become interested in child development and teaching. I worked for awhile as a tutor and at a Forest School in Colorado where I was an assistant teacher working with 3-5-year-olds. I am a believer in free-play and the power of imagination. I believe in individualized and nurturing care built on strong foundations of trust and respect. I believe in playing outside as much as possible, moving your body, mindfulness, healthy eating, and developing empathy for others. I focus on social-emotional learning and relationship skills. My favorite things to do with kids are story-time and imaginative play. I am adept at cooking and cleaning and I love to do field-trips and excursions! I look forward to hearing from you!
