Hi! I am originally from Metro Detroit, but have been living in Chicago for about 5 years. I have worked with children for over 9 years now and would consider myself very comfortable with any age! I recently graduated with my Master's in Urban Education from the University of Chicago and now teach 3rd grade in Chicago Public Schools. I am looking for more short term/occasional babysitting jobs or recurring tutoring jobs currently. I am passionate about dancing, baking, reading, and being active/spending time outside! Madison was super patient with my kids! She helped my 1st grader get over her fear of addition, and got my 4th grader through some serious writers block. She really made learning fun for my kids. My kids teachers and I couldn't believe how much their confidence shifted in the classroom and now they are having such a fun time at school thanks to Madison's gentle approach. I highly recommend her as a tutor!!!
