About Madison

I'd describe my personality as caring, calm, and inquisitive. I like working with kids because I get to see the world from a different perspective through their eyes. I'm looking for a job that lets me care for/mentor children and help them explore the world in a safe and fun way. I started working with kids by being a mother's helper for my younger three siblings about 13 years ago. Since then, I've babysat for several families in the area through middle and high school, with some additionally babysitting during my college years. Most recently I have been watching my two infant nephews. In my spare time, I like to read, sing, go for walks with my dog, and visit museums and cafes. One thing you should know about me is I am a very organized caregiver with clear expectations. I set appropriate boundaries, and work with kids to help them grow responsibly. My skills include supervision and risk awareness, communication with children, and patience and emotional control.
