About Madison

Hello! I am a certified teacher in Missouri moving back to Oklahoma for the summer to be with family. I have taught for the past 6 years in Kansas City. I have taught English as a second language, and special education in the area of math with students in 4th-10th grade. I currently teach ELA courses online and do online Spanish tutoring for students in California. I have had lots of experience working with kids in different settings and consider teaching diverse learners to be a passion of mine. I am especially passionate about working with special education students and have professional experience writing and working on IEP goals. I'd describe my personality as passionate, empathetic, and calm. I like tutoring because I love seeing something click for students- whether it is a new concept or something they have been working on for months. There is nothing like helping students build their confidence through targeted practice and support.
