About Madison

Hi, I'm Madison, a dedicated and enthusiastic educator with a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Elementary Education. I have classroom experience as a 3rd grade general education teacher at Poe Elementary and over a year of private tutoring experience with students from Pre-K through 5th grade. My teaching style is energetic, engaging, and tailored to each child's unique learning style. I specialize in enriching students above grade level and building confidence in challenging skill areas using games, music, and hands-on, kinesthetic learning strategies. I believe learning should be fun, meaningful, and empowering! In addition to classroom and tutoring experience, I spent two amazing summers teaching in an outdoor education setting in Denali National Park, where I helped students connect learning with the natural world. Whether your child needs enrichment, support, or just a creative approach to learning, I'm excited to help them grow and thrive!
