For 20 years, I worked as a housekeeper for more than a dozen American families in Kampala, Uganda before moving to the US with a 10-year visa and green card. I have taken care of many children and infants. I currently work as a teacher's aide in an American preschool for ages 2-years-old to 4-years-old.

Madina was our nanny from when our son was 3 months old through 16 months, and then again from 24 to 27 months, and we couldn't have asked for better. She genuinely loves what she does and it shows. Our son adored her and still asks about her on the way to school, which tells you everything. She was always active with him, constantly getting him outside with trips to the park, the library, and walks around the neighborhood. She never just sat at home with him, which we really appreciated. On top of that, she kept the house tidy, was always on time, and was just a really lovely, easy person to have around. We'd recommend Madina to any family without hesitation. We still use her to babysit our son and love staying in touch with her.
