Because of my lifelong love of children, I have been a first-aid, CPR trained babysitter since the age of 11. I began to nanny at the age of 15 and continued throughout high school and college. My varied experiences have given me opportunities to work with children of all ages. I graduated from Gonzaga University in 2013 with a degree in music and began working at an enrichment and vocational program for adults with developmental disabilities. I completed my Master's Degree from UNC in Special Education, and I am currently pursuing my PhD. in Special Education. I continue to teach all ages and ability levels. I am also a professional actor and musician! My creative and practical experience in addition to my formal education have given me unparalleled perspective and skill in the art of child care and education. Madelyn was a fantastic nanny for our 12 month-old and I would highly recommend her! Madelyn is caring, attentive, reliable, creative, and made every day fun and interesting for our little one. Our son's previously planned transition into daycare was the only reason we had to part ways. Any family will be extremely lucky to have Madelyn as their child's caregiver.
