About Madelyn

I started working with kids ages 4-10 when I was in middle school. I babysat for many families in my neighborhood through my middle school and high school years. After college and having a career in NYC for the past 3 years, I'm looking to get back into childcare to fill my free time! In my spare time, I like to do anything active, social, or creative. Any chance I get I will spend time outside or getting a workout in. I enjoy running (I recently completed the NYC marathon) or, catching up with friends. I also have a career as an interior designer at a large architecture firm here in the city, so I enjoy creative outlets as well! My skills include patience, empathy, and responsibility. I also value open and honest communication between myself and the parent. I like working with kids because it is an opportunity to help them learn and grow - and have fun along the way. I love doing arts and crafts, going to the park and being outside, as well as playing games indoors.
