About Madeline

I'd describe my personality as patient, compassionate, and creative. I like working with kids because they teach you about the world in a way adults do not. Through their unapologetic honesty, unlimited energy, and enthusiasm for life, everyday becomes a unique and exciting adventure. I'm looking for a job that allows me to be patient and kind. I enjoy having a job where I am able to learn something new everyday as well as teach something new. I started working with kids when I was a junior in high school through the Summer Youth Employment Program, as a teachers aide for Block Institute's summer school program. I have also babysat my previous two employers children on numerous occasions over the years. In my spare time, I like to take on new hobbies. This year I have learned how to sew and crotchet. I also enjoy taking long walks throughout the city and exploring new restaurants.
