About Madeline

I have been studying Spanish for the past 5 years. Currently, I am pursuing a minor in Spanish. During my senior year of high school, I led a short-term afterschool program at Doyle Elementary where I helped teach elementary level children beginner Spanish. This past spring, I was involved in a class for my honors college where I translated and tutored Spanish-speaking students math at a local elementary school in Wilmington, NC. It was a blast!!! I truly believe learning a second language is absolutely necessary, and the earlier it's taught, the better it will stick. As passionate as I am about Spanish, I have gone my whole life in love with music. I have been singing my whole life, and taught myself how to play piano/guitar when I was 13. Over the years I've found what works and what doesn't. Music can be hard to learn at first, but it is so worth it at the end!
