About Madeline

Hi, I'm Maddy, and I'm passionate about creating a nurturing, supportive, and engaging environment where your children can explore, learn, and grow at their own pace. I have experience teaching at preschools that practice the Reggio-Emilia philosophy, which has informed my child-centered approach. I believe learning is driven by exploration, creativity, and hands-on experiences through activities like art, music, and play. I am committed to fostering a safe, supportive space for your children to be themselves. I live in Portland, Oregon, with my wife and our two perfect cats. I have a degree in Fine Arts from Portland State University with a focus on textiles. I carry that passion for all forms of art into my childcare work. In my free time, I enjoy sewing, sculpting, painting, and drawing. I'm looking for a Full Time job!
