About Madeline

Hello! My name is Madeline and I'm hoping to connect with a wonderful family to provide childcare for kids ages 1. 5 and up. I recently moved back to the Charlotte area after living in Wilmington for the last 4 years, but have grown up here for most of my life. I've always had a passion for working with kids and started babysitting when I was 12. I graduated from UNC Charlotte in 2021 with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. After that, I taught second grade where I managed a classroom of 15 children. Throughout my teaching experience, I planned engaging lessons for students and created a structured but nurturing environment where my kids could grow and succeed. In June 2022, I moved to Wilmington NC and had the opportunity to nanny two amazing children for 3. 5 years. I'm looking for another full-time position and would prefer 40 hours, but am flexible for the right fit. My last nanny family can also provide a reference upon request. Looking forward to meeting you!
