Hello! I am a friendly and energetic special education teacher who has experience teaching kindergarten-4th grade. I am looking for families to support on an occasional basis on evenings and weekends (nothing full time as I am still a working teacher)! Before being a teacher, I was a nanny for 3 years and have worked with newborns to 14-year-olds! I love working with both neurotypical and neurodiverse children and I am comfortable supporting care needs. I am happy to cook meals, help out with housecleaning or do tutoring and homework help. Some things I love to do while babysitting are going to the park, doing art projects and playing board games! I look forward to talking more and meeting your loved one(s)!

Madeline was our babysitter for our identical twin boys for 3 years in Chicago, from 3-6 years old. The only reason why she isn’t our babysitter anymore is because she moved away to Portland. We love and miss her but so happy for her starting her new life in Portland! Madeline is amazing with children and very reliable & responsible. Our boys love her too! Madeline has experience with children with developmental delays, Autism and ADHD. Both of our boys have ADHD, and she perfectly understood their needs. She also has experience as an IEP teacher and is quite gifted with children. We highly recommend her as a caregiver, nanny or babysitter!
