I have worked in childcare on off for 10 years. I currently work as the director of the School's Out! after school program for the South Burlington School District. On a daily basis I oversee the care of up to 80 children grades K through 4. I engage directly with students and supervise staff to implement fun and educational actives during program hours. I have also worked in in a professional daycare setting at Oysterbabies Early Childhood Center in Long Island, New York. I embraced and adopted the Oysterbabies "learn through play" philosophy and try to implement this style of care in my own nanny/babysitting jobs. I love working with children and derive great joy from this profession.
