About Madeline

My name is Maddie and I am a third year student at the UO. I have 5 years of experience babysitting, most notably with a family who had three kids ages 6 month, 3 years old, and 5 years old. My responsibilities often included cooking dinner, bringing the kids to sports practices, and bed time routines. I am organized, energetic, and reliable. I also have 3 years of experience as a head lifeguard at my local pool, which included CPR and first aid training as well as working kids swim lessons. I volunteered at Moss Street Children's Center before the start of the pandemic, and am looking to work in education while serving in the Peace Corps after graduation. Working with kids has always been so refreshing for me to invest in the next generation, to build lasting connections with both parents and kids, and to have some fun with the little ones!
