About Madeline

I am a caregiver with over 13 years of experience, holding a Master's degree in Social Work. My background includes roles as a nanny, babysitter, and social worker, with expertise in child development, social-emotional learning, child behavioral and mental health, trauma-informed care, and play therapy. During my undergraduate studies, I nannied for families with children aged 3-13 and later provided mental health support at a K-6 charter school. In Portland, OR, I cared for children (infants to 7 years) while managing transportation, meal prep, and activities. While pursuing my Master's, I interned at a high school and a nonprofit, supporting children and families (ages 5-18) with mental health services. After earning my Master's degree, I worked as a child and family therapist at Children's Aid, focusing on assisting children in foster care and their guardians.
