About Madeleine

Hello! My name is Madeleine, I'm 25 years old, I'm a graduate of UC Berkeley, currently work in medtech and I'm looking to make a career shift and get my masters of science in nursing. I have experience working with children of all ages, but particularly with infants and new babies! I've worked as both a long term nanny and short term sitter for the past 10 years. As a previous art teacher and EMT, your young one will be safe and entertained throughout the duration of care. My approach is simple - create a positive learning environment with engagement, structure, and trust. Depending on the need of your child, I'm more than happy to schedule a meet-and-greet beforehand. Safety wise, I am fully certified in CPR, stroke, seizure, drowning, etc. I worked as a lifeguard throughout high school and went on to be a 911 EMT in Northern California. I have experience bathing, feeding, changing, and soothing infants. I also am comfortable working with more than one child at a time.
