About Madeleine

Hi I'm Maddie! I grew up with three younger siblings and have been in childcare for several years. I've worked at multiple daycares, been a full time nanny, and I currently work as an FCPS substitute teacher for Pre-K through 6th grade. I'd describe my personality as creative, calm, content I like working with kids because they are so fun loving and I love the way they see the world I'm looking for a job for the summer, possibly leading into a longer position, that would employ me for at least 25 hours a week. I started working with kids as early as 12 years old. I babysat when I was in high school then started working at a daycare when I moved to Fairfax. In my spare time, I like to read, paint, travel, going to gardens and museums. One thing you should know about me is I love a good craft My skills include: a calm demeanor and patience, lots of experience navigating strong emotions from children, and first-aid knowledge
