About Madeleine

Hi! My name is Maddy Cohen, and I'm from Keene Valley, NY, and here's a little about myself! Professionally, I'm a psychology graduate from the University of Vermont, and am enrolled to begin a doctoral program in child clinical psychology at Antioch University. I have been working as a behavior interventionist for kids 5-14 with behavioral and emotional challenges in a trauma-informed, therapeutic school environment. My skill set includes de-escalating emotional/behavioral crises, teaching and modeling adaptive behaviors, and peer mediation. Before being an interventionist, I was a children's camp counselor for an outdoor hiking/canoeing/rock climbing camp for 5 years. Personally, I'm charismatic, youthful, responsible, and absolutely love children. I am further an outdoors fanatic (how can you not be in these beautiful mountains), seeking enriching experiences, and love learning new things. In total, I bring 6 years of childcare experience, and would love to connect! Best, Maddy
