About Madeleine

Hi, I'm Maddie! Most people describe me as a bright, active, and fun person, which is why I made my career in nonprofit education and childcare programs. For nearly eight years I ran camps, discovery programs, and extracurricular activities at Strawbery Banke Museum before returning to school in 2021 for my master's degree. I've worked with children of all ages in many different settings, so I'm willing to help around the house, at before or after school activities, or wherever childcare is needed. I love to be outdoors walking, hiking, or enjoying the scenery with my dog. As a history buff I especially enjoy museums and cultural resources such as libraries, parks, and community activities. In all my work with children I advocate for hands-on learning experiences, outdoor recreation, and plenty of creative free play.
