About Maddison

Maddison was one the very best things to happen to our family! Context: We hired her for 6 months of in home nanny care for out infant while we waited for him to be old enough for his daycare spot. Our little one was 6-12 months while she worked for us. Maddison is a capable, intuitive and dedicated care giver. Not only does she clearly know the ins and outs of caring for an infant (diapers, bottles, age appropriate play, etc.), she was quickly in tune with the needs of our little one. She would make tweaks to his daily schedule when necessary, find new ways to entertain him and could tell when he was just having an off day. She was instrumental in many transitions including going from 3 naps to 2 to 1, introducing solids, weaning from breastfeeding, introducing formula and many other milestones. In addition to our little one, she made fast friends with our two dogs as well. One of the qualities I appreciated most about Maddison was her honest and helpful run downs of the day. Every little one has some rough days here and there and she never shied away from sharing those with us. She also shared pictures and updates throughout the day so we always knew the fun things they were getting into. There was never a day I worried about my little one when he was with Maddison. I could go on and on about her ability to deliver on top tier care for a child but even beyond her childcare skills, she is a professional. She is easy to communicate with, responsive, punctual and flexible. She takes her work and herself seriously and has struck the perfect balance of showing up with the soft, playfulness needed for the kiddos and the articulate, assertiveness needed to be a professional. I without hesitation would recommend Maddison.
