Hi I am Macy! I've been caring for kids 7-12 consistently throughout high school. Mostly just in the evenings. I just got back from a year as an au pair in Switzerland where I cared for 3 boys (an infant, 3, 5) My job consisted of cooking healthy meals for the whole family, preparing funny unique snacks for the boys, playing (a lot), crafts, cleaning up after the boys and since the middle child was not in school I would make fun learning activities to prepare him for kindergarten. I just received my Certificate in Early Childhood Education at Santa Barbara City College this spring. To complete the certificate I spent the last year as a student teacher at Orfela Early Learning Center as well as taking a full course load of ECE classes. I was at the center 3 times a week for 3 hours +prep time. I was able to create and facilitate dozens of early learning curriculum for ages infant- 5years old. Im am transferring this fall to SDSU to study child development!
