I am looking for a family to form a babysitting relationship with for either regular part-time work and/or occasional evening & weekend sitting. I have significant experience with children ages 2 and up across multiple contexts as well as supervised experience with infants in a daycare setting. I use my skills as an empathetic and perceptive caregiver to try to understand situations from the perspective of the child, and I use that insight to help develop effective methods to care for each child's unique needs. I am a very creative and I love finding new outlets for the children I care for. I can play viola & piano and I have a limited understanding of both French and Spanish. I enjoy outdoor activities such as kayaking, camping, hiking, and soccer. I am also an avid fan of both board games and video games, and love using them as an avenue to help children build confidence, teamwork, & respect.

Mackenzie is a bright, caring and responsible caregiver who brings a fun attitude and creative ideas. She worked as a full time nanny for my four children including 2-year old twins and a special needs child. She was always "on top of everything" and could handle the chaos that comes with four young children. They loved playing with her and respected her when she needed them to listen to her requests or counsel. She took them to the park and swim club and kept our home in one piece. Mackenzie is very reliable and willing to pitch in to help. She is also a very good helper of homework. My kids bonded with her very quickly. She has a nice sense of humor and was able to keep smiling no matter the challenges. I still rely on Mackenzie for occasional babysitting and have trusted her to stay with my children when my husband and I went away for the weekend. You will be lucky to have her.
