About Mackenzie

I've grown up around animals my entire life. Currently, I work full time managing a team of adoptions associates at an animal shelter. I have 5 years of experience working with shelter animals, 10 years total professional experience working with owned animals that were boarded, required veterinary services, or required petsitting. I am calm, patient, and compassionate. I can work with animals with any behavioral concerns. I'm communicative and focus on doing all I can to reduce fear as pets are getting to know me. I look forward to getting to know your pets, and be that person that provides them comfort in times when you must be away!
