About Mackenzie
I have been a nanny for over 30 years, taught college, then became a certified Waldorf lead teacher and have taught over 10 years in various settings: forest, farm, and classroom. I have run schools, taught in Montessori classrooms, and have been a tutor for various ages. As a mother and a teacher, I enjoy teaching children about the world they live in, bringing wonder and joy into their lives. Most importantly, I love teaching children in all weather conditions, out in nature, and in a variety of landscapes. I am a big believer in risky play, while simultaneously creating boundaries and teaching children responsibility. Kindness and creativity are at the forefront of my care.
