Hello! My name is Mackenzie, and I am a senior studying History at Angelo State University. This Fall 2016 semester marks my fourth consecutive semester as an SI (supplemental instruction) leader for the US History survey courses. My job includes sitting in on an assigned class to follow the lecture, running study sessions to review important concepts, and holding office hours in the Tutor Center for one-on-one help for students. Students who consistently attend my SI sessions improve their grades over the course of the semester and usually score one letter grade above the class average. I am learning all I can from this amazing opportunity so that one day when I have my own classroom, I can hit the ground running! I can tutor social studies and English at all levels. Other subjects are a maybe depending upon the grade your child is in. I look forward to helping your child understand more and improve their grade!
