About Mackenzie

I have grown up with three dogs throughout my life, a Yellow Labrador Retriever, Australian shepherd mix, and now a Border Collie Mix who I adopted my junior year at Clemson University. I have various animal experiences by working at animal shelters, a veterinary hospital. I have also been walking dogs the past three years, as well as pet sitting for my neighbors. The animal shelter that I volunteered at is called Lamancha Animal Rescue in Coatesville, PA. I took the dogs out for walks every Saturday morning and helped with cleaning their areas and feeding them. I also worked with socializing the dogs. During one of those summers, I worked as a veterinary technician at Chadds Ford Animal Hospital where I helped with administering insulin to animals with diabetes and other prescription medications during their stay.
