About Mackenzie

My name is MacKenzie and I'm a kind, patient, and attentive caretaker. I've provided care for toddlers, 13 years old and all of the ages in between. I have experience with playing pretend, special needs and travel care as well. I don't mind helping care for pets and am happy to do house sittings if needed. I also value reading and education so I would be a great candidate for homework help and encouraging ongoing learning. My top child care skill is empathy. I remember very vividly what it was like being a kid and even though the times have certainly changed since then, I believe children still have similar needs today and I enjoy stepping into their shoes for a bit to see how I can provide the best care for each individual. I'm also able to form genuine bonds with those I care for. I consider myself a true animal lover as well.
