About Mackenna

Hello! My name is Kenna, I'm 26 years old and live in Monmouth. I've been working with children in various childcare centers as a teacher and as a nanny since I was 16 years old. I absolutely love caring for and teaching children, and believe it is what I'm meant to do! I have worked for before/after school programs as well as child development centers and early learning centers for the last 8 or so years. I believe in fostering independence in children through teaching real skills that they can take with them as they grow. I believe children are so much more capable than they are often given credit for, and because of this belief, I choose to always teach with an open mind, open heart, and encourage curiosity! I will be graduating with a degree in Education studies and a minor in Linguistics in the Spring of 2026. I am up to date in first aid/CPR as well as 20 hours of professional development.
