About Macie

I absolutely adore older people. I live right next to my two grandparents who are constantly having surgery and in need of help doing things around the house. I have experience helping out two people over the age of 70. I would be willing to drive, cook, help pick up the house, and run errands. My grandpa is loosing his hearing, so I am used to having to repeat myself and talking slow and calm. Since my grandparents over the last few years, have gotten a lot of surgeries, I am very capable of reminding them to take their medicine, help cook, tidy up the house, and just sitting and talking on the front porch about "the good old days." I am very good at adapting to the needs of people. I also am very close to my great grandma who is 106. She is partly deaf and has bad dementia, but seems to always remember her young days and a few names of people she truly loved. I call my great grandma on a weekly basis to check in with her, after she has had her episodes of being mean to the aides, and
