About Mabel
In the past, I have had seniors that were my neighbors that I provided such help as companionship, grocery shopping for them or taking them grocery shopping and visiting them when they were later moved to nursing homes. I have done so with three different seniors who lived in my apartment building. I love doing this because I am so much aware of the loneliness that characterizes this season in their lives. These were not paid jobs. I did them because I just wanted to help.

Mabel was a great caregiver for my mom for nearly 3 years. She was patient with mom on her mom's bad days and made mom's good days even better. Mabel was able to learn and adapt to my mom's changing needs so she will be even more prepared to care for seniors in her next job. She was almost always early as she was a much-needed constant in my mom's household. She once told me "This is not a job, it's a calling" . Based on the care Mabel gave my mom I believe her. Highly recommend.
