About Lynsea

I'm the oldest of 10, so childcare has always been a part of my life. Over the years, I've worked in daycares, run my own at-home childcare, managed a summer camp, and created a children's hour program for homeschool families that ran for over three years. I've also been a live-in nanny for newborns, worked with children with disabilities and homeschooled my twin sisters during COVID. I love keeping kids engaged with fun, hands-on activities like building bug habitats, teaching art lessons, playing games, and making learning exciting. My discipline style focuses on natural consequences tied to actions while empowering kids to make choices. I enjoy teaching kids about local Indigenous culture and sharing some Narragansett language.
