About Lynn

I am a caring, outgoing, responsible professional looking to contribute to the success of a family as a regular fill-in nanny, date night, or flexible evening/weekend care. I am a 39-year-old with two masters degrees (one in child development), currently starting her own business. I have 15+ years experience working in the youth development/education sector, and my sweet spot is toddlers. For several years, I trained educators on safe play and creating inclusive environments. Over the years, I have done in-home babysitting for children from many cultural backgrounds and also for children with special needs. I was trained as an infant/toddler caregiver, with over 40 hours of professional development to work in an accredited child care center. Along with this, I have experience as a Peace Corps Volunteer in youth development and as a volunteer working with children who have experienced trauma. I base my work on a youth development/social work approach and am a dedicated auntie/Tia.
